Well, we've owned a boat for 5 days now, and have been out on the lake 3 of those days! We tried to fit a 4th trip in there but we kept running into complications so turned back to home. It is so fun, but so much work! We get ready a little faster each time, and learn something new each time. I think we also break something every time too! on the boat, not bones! :) On our drive away from the dealer, we shredded our bimney, but they are replacing it for us. The next day we got a little white on one side of the boat, from docking maybe. And yesterday, we burned up our pump the first time we used it trying to fill the tube--nothing like sitting in the middle of the lake and seeing smoke coming from your airpump! Then we put a hole in the cover when folding the tower down! I wonder if duck tape will fix that?!? Oh so much to learn! But we'll keep plugging along---Scott is taking the YM out tonight on the lake. And we'll be out there at least 2 more times this week if weather permits! We want to know what we're doing before the boy comes home next summer! He might not even recognize his momma--owning chickens and a boat!
