A whirlwind of a week....

This has been a crazy week.  The movers picked up our things last Thursday, and we have wonderful friends who put us up and helped us during our last days in Castaic.  Thank you!!!  We love you all!  Sunday we started our drive, stopping in Las Vegas to spend the night with family.  Sorry we didn't make it in time for your farewell talk, Judd, but thanks for letting us come over and visit with you.  You're going to be a great missionary!  Monday morning, we left bright and early to finish our journey.  We stopped in Beaver UT for lunch and found the weather in the low 60s---we were a bit underdressed!  One thing we've found about wherever we go in UT, people are so friendly!  We arrived into Provo late afternoon, packed up Scott's apartment, dropped off stuff at our storage unit, met my brother and his wife for dinner (he was in town for an interview), then checked into our condo at 8pm.  Long day!  Tuesday we walked downtown, enjoyed the sites, and hopped in the car to explore a bit.  My brother also called to let us know that he got the job, so his family will also be relocating to SLC.  We are so excited!   Wednesday, I went house hunting:  13 houses, 5 hours, too much to process!!!  Found a couple of possibilities but not one that I love yet.  Mark Voges arrived in town, so we headed to Rodrizio Grill (Brazilian steakhouse) for dinner.  It was sooooo good!  ven Chelsie loved it! The boys ate way toooo much, Wes and Mark even ate a chicken heart for Jamie!  Thursday, the movers delivered our things to storage.  What I thought would take a couple of hours, took all day.  I now look like a lobster--I didn't even realize how much sun I was getting, but it's done and packed in storage like a can of sardines!
We joined Mark for dinner again at Market Street Grill---I mean Macaroni Grill!  We came back to watch the Lakers game.
Today, Wes heads to BYU.  Scott will drop him off this morning.  We hope to meet up with the Jamgochians for lunch, buy books, do a little dorm room shopping, and leave feeling like we're missing something!  We're so proud of Wes and excited for him.  We are lucky to be close by, but I have a feeling he's going to be too busy and having way too much fun to see us very often--as it should be!  Heavenly Father is so wise---I am so tired and busy thinking about our future, that I haven't had time to even be sad about Wes leaving home.  I really never pictured us dropping him off at college as, "Ok, head down and I'll see you sometime later today to drop off your stuff!"  Hehe, I guess it's good for both of us. Tomorrow we will look at several more houses, hoping we find the right one in the right area, in the right ward!  No pressure!
